Take Enzymes So You Don’t Have to Sleep A Lot

What every person should do at night is to take 10 to 15 Detoxzyme when they go to bed. If you add one or two Essentialzymes with that, then you are going to make sure that you have what you need in your digestive tract to handle that big meal you had at 8 o’clock.

How many of you have restless legs at night? Not anymore. How many of you have nightmares at night? How many have restless sleep? All those are indicators of enzyme deficiency. If you have restless legs, if you have restless sleep—waking, sleeping, waking, sleeping—that’s enzyme deficiency. What is it telling you? It’s telling you that your body is fighting, struggling, and wrestling with trying to digest that food you stuffed in there, and it can’t do it because it doesn’t have any help.

How many of you know that if you don’t eat after 3 o’clock, you sleep better? That’s because your stomach is not in turmoil. It is believed that if you can get into the 4th stage of sleep, you need to sleep for only 2½ hours to totally rejuvenate your body. You cannot get in the 4th stage of sleep with enzyme deficiency. It’s impossible. Build up those enzymes!

Essentialzyme’s Powerful Ingredients

One of the things that you will see in Essentialzyme™ is carrot powder.

Why did I include carrot powder? Because I want the body to recognize the natural form of enzymes. It’s important to know that carrots contain the highest level of natural plant enzymes in the entire plant kingdom.

Remember, enzymes need minerals to perform their functions. Minerals are called “cofactors” because without them, enzymes would just sit around and do nothing. So it is vital that you supply your body with a variety of minerals.

If you look on the Essentialzyme label, you will see two ingredients called alfalfa leaf and sprout powders. Alfalfa is one of the most important ingredients we have included for a full range of essential minerals that harmonize and complement the enzymes in the carrot powder and the other enzymes that we have put with it. These enzymes include pancreatin, pancrelipase, trypsin, bromelain, and papain–all these ingredients are great because they work together.

Running on Fumes? Get Enzymes!

Essentialzyme is a complex of animal enzymes and plant enzymes including pancreatin-X, which is the strongest protein enzyme that exists. Your pancreatin enzymes help regulate the function of the pancreas and regulate glucose and insulin needs, and every aspect of it has a specific function.

So, if you want to stay well, then build your enzyme reserves. If you have an allergy, build your enzyme reserves.
I had a beautiful lady the other day say to me that she takes 20 to 30 enzymes a day and is still having a problem. So I made a real simple analogy. I said that if you have a car with a 21-gallon tank on it and you run out of gas, you have to pull over and park. If you put 1 gallon of gas in it, how far are you going to get before you run out of gas again?

Commitment to Enzymes and Good Health

So how does that happen? It’s called discipline. It’s called commitment—to a purpose, the purpose of your eating habits and what you supplement with. All of those will determine whether you can do that or not.

The upper stomach is alkaline, with a pH of 6.5–7, and food remains there for one hour and then enters the lower stomach, which is acid, with a pH of 2.5–5. This is really critical in helping to maintain good pH. What helps to maintain a proper pH in the stomach? Two things are really, really critical: Enzymes, No. 1, and probiotics, intestinal flora, No. 2.

So you have to have intestinal flora and enzymes to maintain a good pH range in the gut. If you don’t, what is the end result of not having good pH? Burping, gas, excessive acid, headache, stomach ache—all those wonderful things that we sometimes experience.

What Exactly are Enzymes?

What exactly are enzymes? Enzymes are the proteins produced by living organisms and are composed of amino acids.

Enzymes are formed by stringing together long chains of amino acids, which have literally millions of different structures.

Enzymes are catalysts that create many essential biochemical reactions. These enzymes are not consumed in the daily processes of the body. However, if you are taking ibuprofen, Tylenol, or an antibiotic; if you are receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy; or if you are cooking your food in a microwave, you are destroying your enzymes, and the enzymes cannot build or develop in your system. Without the enzymes, some metabolic processes would happen very slowly or not at all.

Our body has many different kinds of enzymes, but the three major ones are digestive, food, and metabolic.

Stimulate Your Brain with Enzymes

If you build up your enzyme storage reserve and maintain it, you will discover that you will enjoy good health. I get asked constantly how I go into a country, go into the jungle, deal with what I do, come back, and just keep going and going and going and not get sick. I eat more enzymes than I eat anything else, and I have ever since I made Essentialzyme in 1984. That and the oils are my mainstays. I rub oils on and drink them.

When you do that, you reduce the chance of being sick, and you are able to do more, perform more, think better, and think more clearly. One of my young colleagues just two days ago was traveling with me, and he asked me how I remember all the things I have to remember. I told him that it’s easy, because enzymes stimulate the brain for memory retention, memory alertness, and articulating.

Enzyme Deficiencies Are a Growing Problem

Could You Be Enzyme Deficient?

Enzyme deficiencies are a growing problem. For more information on how to take Essentialzyme, review Chapters 9 and 19 in your EDR. If you don’t have a new Essential Oils Desk Reference, get it, because it will help you to better facilitate and direct your clients, customers, and patients in the direction they need to go with enzymes. It’s very important.

To summarize, Essentialzyme is an essential blend of animal origin and has pancrealipase, pancreatin 10X (which is the strongest), trypsin, and betaine hydrochloric acid. Then we combine it with a vegetable-originated blend of bromelain, which comes from pineapple; thyme; Carrot leaf powder; alfalfa sprout powder; alfalfa; and cumin seed powder, which we use because cumin also is a very active agent in enzymatic activity.

Enzymes Promote Faster Healing

Some of you saw my scans last year, and I’m going to use that to drive home my point. I have had my spine broken twice with 16 broken and crushed vertebras and 11 ruptured—not herniated—but ruptured disks. And do I have a limitation today? No, I don’t.

Why? Enzymes are a big part of it. Activity is a part of it. There is no one magic bullet, please understand that. It’s a lifestyle. And the lifestyle should be nothing more than the focus of vitality. If you want to have it, only you can create it. And you do that by making proper and better choices. It’s wonderful to feel alive.

Some of you know that seven years ago, I took a hit jousting with an 11-foot-long jousting lance—full speed, about 44 miles an hour. It went in my side, not completely in but far enough that I was glad it stopped when it did. Had I not had on chain mail and leather, it would have gone all the way through[...]

Adding Essential Oils to Enzymes

Today I will conclude with the other essential oils I chose for Essentialzyme™ and then Essentialzymes-4™.

Fennel works in the stomach as a digestive aid, but it is also stimulating to the circulatory, glandular, and respiratory systems. It has long been known to be balancing to the body.

Peppermint is primarily included to be a modulator in maintaining a normal inflammatory response, so it’s important for that first phase of digestion and not just for the refreshing flavoring.

Balance is Critical for Vitality

As I said in the beginning, I take more enzymes than any other supplements I take in Young Living, because I have known the value for years. I made Essentialzyme™ originally in 1984, and it has been mentioned since then as one of the most powerful enzymes on the market today. It’s so very, very effective.

But I have given you even more enzyme products.  You can make many combinations using Essentialzyme, Essentialzymes-4™, and other enzyme formulas I have created like Allerzyme™ or Detoxzyme™.

If you take three Essentialzyme before lunch for heartburn and the acid doesn’t go away, then add capsules from your Essentialzymes-4 pack, depending on what you ate. If you ate meat, add a yellow capsule, which contains protease for digesting protein. If you had guacamole and sour cream on your burrito, then add one of the natural-colored capsules, which contain lipase for fat.

Vitality with Enzymes

This post is for those of you that may be struggling with uncomfortable stomach concerns—things like bloating, or stagnant, undigested food. It can be difficult to determine which foods contribute to the problem, but fortunately Young Living just launched a handful of new products to help!

D. Gary Young announced two great new enzyme products at last month’s Orlando convention, Essentialzymes-4 and the newly formulated Essentialzyme. Each has been specially formulated to support various stages of the digestive process.
